Well I was with my family and we stopped by in early summer and they had been I had not and they raved about how good everything was and they couldn't have been more right . Very one on one service and the owners couldn't have been more helpful explaining the menu . The ambiance is fine and the menu and food outweigh anything else. Great Food , Great Service. Very nice for a quick meal to go. We went on a Thursday after a long work day.
Mostly crunchy coating on the calamari- it's not flaky like most other places, instead it's crumb-y (see pic for reference). Good flavor in the crust, and the squid pieces were cut from an actual whole squid, so you get fun little pointy pieces too. The squid itself was on the softer side, not as chewy as squid usually is. The marinara sauce was very disappointing, tasted watery (and just sorta bad). The portion size was a bit smaller than I would have liked. Ordered on ubereats ahead of time, but I don't think they started making it until I showed them I was there to pick up my order. I would recommend just showing up and ordering at the counter, you save on extra processing fees and you don't lose much on time. Inside has a few tables and chairs in front of the counter, enough to seat a little more than 10 people max I'd estimate. The owners/employees seem nice and efficient.
Here I have visited this great establishment following experience and good reviews The place is clean, food is amazing and staff is very generous, accommodating, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I will highly recommend to family and friends and will always eat from here every chance I visit the area. Thanks very much Starfish, I look forward for your continuous great and delicious food.
Here from outdoor town and came based on the reviews. This place did not disappoint! Now, I've never had a lobster roll in my life before today, so I don't have much to compare it to. But this lobster roll was divine! Simple, just butter, lobster, old bay, on a roll. But it was so delicious! Will be back next time I visit Bayonne.
Food is absolutely amazing!!! The lobster roll was fantastic and tasted fresh and delicious. I ordered a couple of sides and everything was perfect. It's a nice clean small takeout location so order ahead or better yet, just get it delivered like I did. My wife had the salmon on a salad and that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great spot to try out. Portions are generous and price is reasonable.
Visited with my husband. Such a cute gem! Had the fish and chips and my husband had the fried shrimp. Sooo delicious! Shrimp was perfectly cooked. Try this place out, you won't be disappointed!
